Ask Who Made It

Ask Who Made it? is a cross-media awareness campaign that reveals the hidden human cost behind everyday products in six global industries. It centers around a simple but powerful question — Who made it? — referring to the products we consume daily. The question is used to encourage individuals to reflect, question, and act by making more ethical choices, spreading awareness, and challenging corporate systems that profit from invisibility.

The campaign shows how global capitalism depends on modern-day neocolonial practices of forced labor and child exploitation, mostly in underdeveloped countries, leaving communities trapped in cycles of poverty. Meanwhile, large corporations and powerful brands in the Global North continue to grow richer — offering products to consumers while hiding the truth about how they’re made.
